These are the policies families ask about most. The full handbook comes with your enrollment packet — and if this page and the handbook ever disagree, the handbook wins.
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with drop-off by 9:00. Early mornings (before 8:00 AM), evenings (after 5:00 PM), weekends, and overnight care available by reservation as extended care. About 10 paid closure days a year (major holidays plus a few provider days), always with advance notice.
Flat monthly tuition on auto-pay on the 1st. Tuition reserves the spot year-round — no credit for absences or vacations. $125 registration fee, two-week deposit applied to your last month, 10% sibling discount. Full rate table on the Tuition page.
A gentle health check every morning. Children stay home for fever (100.4°F+), vomiting, diarrhea, unexplained rash, pink eye, or anything contagious — and return after 24 symptom-free hours without medication, or with a doctor's note. Immunizations must be current; California doesn't accept personal-belief exemptions, and neither can we.
Written process only: original container, the actual prescription, written authorization on the state consent form, every dose logged. No medication requests by phone or text — that rule protects your child.
Backs, always. Own crib or approved play yard, nothing in it but a firm mattress and fitted sheet. Documented checks every 15 minutes for every sleeping child under two. An Individual Infant Sleeping Plan, completed with you, for every baby under one. No swaddling, no walkers, no bouncers — California law, and we agree with it.
All meals and snacks included — healthy, home-cooked, allergy-conscious. You provide milk for babies under one. Tell us about allergies in writing at enrollment; we keep a care plan for each child.
Locked door at all times. Authorized pickup only, photo ID until we know you. Fire and earthquake drills, logged. Emergency disaster plan on file with licensing. Every adult in the home is DOJ background-checked. If there's ever an injury or unusual incident, we tell you immediately and report to licensing as required.
Warm, positive, and consistent. We set simple expectations, redirect gently, and help children name feelings and solve problems. Never corporal punishment, shaming, isolation, or withholding food — against California law and against everything we believe.
Daily updates and photos in the parent app. Quick chats at drop-off and pickup. A scheduled conversation any time you want one. Concerns come to us first — and you always have the right to contact Community Care Licensing directly.
Two weeks' written notice, tuition due through the notice period. We'll always try to talk things through first.
